Training encompasses the following principles:

Emphasis on watching and listening. Before
engaging formal study, Suzuki Baby Students
are exposed to the recordings of the pieces
that they will play, as well as other classical
repertoire.

Deferment of reading music until sufficient
development in the technical mastery of
the violin and musical memory is achieved.
